It's been a while since I've updated the site. Lots of family stuff going on.
I managed to run into Poor Yorick at his place of work in July. I
decided to get some surgery done to clear up my throat and nasal
pasages due to excessive snoring. For those who don't know, Poor
Yorick is an ENT (Ear Nose Throat) doctor here in Tulsa. He removed
my nose splints one week after my surgery and he recognized me. We
chatted for a bit about the old times and any info on others. It was
good to see him.
Alot going on on the gaming front. Warhammer Online is coming out
in September and Blizzard has recently released their Wrath of the Lich
King content patch. This has brought in new skills and talents and a
ton of new stuff. Its almost like an entirely different game now.
Aion has not released yet but soon.
On the FPS front, I see many TulsaLAN members still logging into
STEAM on a regular basis. Team Fortress 2 received a good update to
include new maps and a new game type called payload. In Payload the
offensive team moves a large bomb foward on its tracks to its final
destination while the defensive team tries to stop them.
Call of Duty 4 has recently gone version 1.7 but like all CoD patches,
it didn't really fix any game play issues. The new anticipated FPS
buzz from what I hear is Crisis Warhead. If anybody has any info on
this I'd love to post it.

Check out the forums on how our trip to NWALAN went. Nothing exciting but we had a good time and I expect we'll probably go again.
I'll be posting a Call of Duty 4 review in a bit, so if you haven't bought the game yet, maybe my review will help you decide if you wish to purchase the game.
There is also some talk right now of us trying to arrange a Quake CON trip. Check the forums for some details.
