NWALAN Trip Successful
Thursday, 28 February 2008

Check out the forums on how our trip to NWALAN went.  Nothing exciting but we had a good time and I expect we'll probably go again.

I'll be posting a Call of Duty 4 review in a bit, so if you haven't bought the game yet, maybe my review will help  you decide if you wish to purchase the game.

There is also some talk right now of us trying to arrange a Quake CON trip.  Check the forums for some details.

So ends another year and we begin 2008.  Lots of stuff coming up this year.  Call of Duty 4 and Unreal Tournament 3 have been released and are in stores now.  On the MMO front....Warhammer Online is in its 2nd Beta Stage for the Elves.  World of Warcraft Patch 2.4 is due out in the June - July time frame.  Wrath of the Lich King is due out later this year as well.  Another sneaker MMO is Aion .  This is an Asian MMO along the lines of Lineage 2 and RFO Online.  Playsoft NC has supposedly tailored this MMO more towards the Western play style.  We'll have to see this to believe it.  Also, it appears RFO Online is now completely free to play.  This is probably because the game died some time ago, but if your bored and want a new experience for free, go try it out.

The next upcoming event is NWALAN on February 23rd.  There are already some TulsaLAN members going.  The LAN will be around 100 people and will include tournaments in various games including Call of Duty 4.  Check it out and register if you wish to attend.  Its about a 90 min drive there and costs $10.  It lasts from 10 AM to 2AM.
